Self (Chapter 3)
1. Meet in your groups. Do some bonding for a few minutes to get to know one another better.
2. Try some self disclosure. Reveal something about yourself that you view as positive.
3. Explain how that positive trait may affect your interpersonal communication.
4. Reveal something that you would like to change about yourself.
5. Explain how that trait you would like to change may affect your interpersonal communication.
6. Ask group members for suggestions for ways you might change that trait, and as a result become a more effective interpersonal communicator.
7. Make a list of positive traits, and the traits that group members would like to change. Be prepared to discuss the results with the rest of the class.
