What do newspapers do you read and why?

 

How much time per day do you spend reading newspapers?

 

How well do newspapers perform their function as a watchdog or 4th branch of government?

 

Do newspapers still matter?  If so, how do they matter?

 

Do newspapers influence other media?  If so, how?

 

Group Exercise

You are the editors and reporters at the Press of Atlantic city.

You will meet to decide which stories will appear in which parts of the paper.

What is your criteria?

What questions would you ask about each story?
