Beacons by the Sea is a public arts and fund-raising project that will place 73 fanciful artist-decorated lighthouses in prominent locations throughout New Jersey's Atlantic and Cape May counties during the summer of 2003.

Sale of the works at auctions in August 2003 will benefit Atlantic Cape Community College (ACCC), the ACCC Foundation, Culture and Heritage offices of Cape May and Atlantic counties, and arts and education organizations in the two-county region.
