Gene LoPresti is Professor of English. He received his B.A. and M.A. in English Literature from New Mexico State University, and his doctorate in Rhetoric and Linguistics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. LoPresti teaches courses in Composition and Literature. His teaching and research interests focus on the complex idiosyncratic facets of student literacy in college. Some relevant publications and presentations include:
